A classically trained chef and past member of both The American Culinary Federation and American Personal Chef Association Chef Perry Harmon keeps busy with his other culinary endeavors when he is not baking his wonderful biscotti. He is Executive Chef for The Inn at Chateau Grand Traverse Winery, one of the chef's for "Learn Great Foods" a organic food tour group, and is the morning chef on "The Peninsula Kitchen with Chef Perry Harmon and Stacey Skrysak" on local channel TV 7&4. He lives with his family in Traverse City, Michigan and continues to stay very active in the local culinary scene.
Chef Perry was tired of eating biscotti that lacked flavor and was so hard it nearly broke his teeth. He tested and perfected his recipes and launched "Provisions Ltd" his new gourmet foods company in September of 2006 after introducing his biscotti to a very receptive audience attending the 2006 Traverse Epicurean Classic. He is constantly developing new biscotti flavors as well as other types of gourmet edibles that are not offered by anyone else. Chef Perry currently offers a premium line of Gourmet Biscotti that taste great and even though they are twice baked they are still somewhat chewy with a wonderful mouth feel.
